Minutes: Motion was made by Lee Singleton and seconded by B. F. Daniel to approve the minutes from the February 12, 2007 board meeting.

Audience: No comment was made by the audience.
Summer
Maint: Mr. Hammond and the Board of Trustees discussed maintenance needs for the summer.
Board
Election: The Board of Trustees and Administration discussed the upcoming board election on May 12, 2007.
Board
Meeting: Motion was made by B. F. Daniel and seconded by Troy Shelton to move the June board meeting to June 4, 2007.

Principal’s
Report: Mr. Ferguson discussed campus updates, U.I.L., calendar amendment (not needed), and summer schedules with the Board of Trustees.
Supt’s
Report: Mr. Hammond updated the board on finances and Special Education.

Budget: No action was taken.
Bills: Motion was made by Lee Singleton and seconded by B. F. Daniel to approve payment of bills.

Ex. Session: The Board of Trustees went into executive session at 8:05 p.m. and came out of executive session at 9:10 p.m. with no action being taken.
Personnel: Motion was made by Lee Singleton and seconded by Thomas Burrus to accept Kathy Gist’s resignation.

Motion was made by B. F. Daniel and seconded by Troy Shelton to hire the teachers listed below as term contracts (except as noted) subject to assignment, for 187 day contracts for the 2007-2008 school year.
Shannon Buffe (Probationary), Cheri Cockrell, Brenda Ferguson, Jennifer Flanagan, Pamela Greer, Matt Holder, Kim Nelson, Tracey Priddy (Probationary), Kathy Regian, Tracy Rowell, Lana Schwartz, Beth Seider, Skip Thomas.

Motion was made by Troy Shelton and seconded by B. F. Daniel to hire Amanda Bludworth as teacher/coach subject to assignment on a 197 day contract.

Motion was made by Lee Singleton and seconded by B. F. Daniel to hire Ron Hogue as teacher/coach subject to assignment on an 11 month contract.
